Addi Raises $85M Series D

Addi, based in Bogota, Colombia, a financial and commerce platform providing credit and payment solutions, has raised $85 million in a Series D funding round. The company, which uses artificial intelligence to serve millions of customers and thousands of merchants, plans to use the new capital to accelerate its growth trajectory.

The round was led by Citius, a global investment firm, and co-led by BTG Pactual, the largest investment bank in Latin America. Additional participants in the round included GIC and Monashees.

Addi will use the Series D proceeds to continue growing its credit platform, strengthen its technology infrastructure, and expand its portfolio of financial products for consumers and merchants across Colombia.

Founded in 2018 by Santiago Suarez, Daniel Vallejo, and Elmer Ortega, Addi operates an AI-first technology platform that provides financial services and commerce solutions. The company aims to drive everyday commerce by expanding access to credit and improving the payment experience for consumers and merchants.
