Alitheon Raises $8 Million Series A1
Alitheon, a Bellevue, Washington-based optical-AI company specializing in object authentication and traceability, has raised $8 million in a Series A1 funding round to expand the global deployment of its FeaturePrint® technology.
The funding round was led by Emerald Technology Ventures, with significant participation from eBay Ventures and continued backing from existing investors.
The company will use the proceeds to accelerate the worldwide adoption of its FeaturePrint® technology, enabling digital-first serialization, provenance tracking, and supply chain traceability.
Led by CEO Roei Ganzarski, Alitheon is a company that developed FeaturePrint®, a patented technology that identifies individual physical objects using their inherent surface characteristics. The platform creates unique digital identities for physical objects without requiring labels, tags, or other added markers. With more than 55 issued patents, the company’s technology powers what it calls “biometrics for things,” providing a Zero Trust framework for authenticating physical assets and ensuring data integrity across global commerce.
