Alpaca Raises $135M Strategic Investment

AlpacaDB Inc., a securities platform provider for the AI agent era based in the United States, has announced a strategic investment of over $135 million. Including recent debt financing, the company's total funding raised is reported at $435 million.

The strategic funding round was led by Peak XV, with Elefund as lead investor. New and existing investors include Opera Tech Ventures and Unbound, while debt financing was primarily provided by Payward (Kraken) and BMO.

Alpaca plans to use the capital to accelerate the development of its AI agent-based securities infrastructure. The funds will also support the deployment of an API-first prime brokerage function designed for institutional investors, quantitative funds, and market makers to access global markets.
