Amigo AI Raises $11 Million in Series A

Amigo AI, a New York–based platform for building and training patient-facing clinical AI agents, has raised $11 million in Series A funding, bringing its total raised to $17 million.

The round was led by Madrona, with participation from Optum Ventures.

Madrona is a venture capital firm based in Seattle, Washington, that focuses on early-stage technology investments. Founded in 1995, Madrona primarily invests in Seed and Series A rounds, targeting startups in cloud infrastructure, AI/ML, enterprise software, consumer internet, and robotics. The firm manages approximately $4.3 billion in assets.

The company will use the funding to expand the development and deployment of Amigo’s clinical AI agents and scale its platform for healthcare organizations globally.
