Ant International Raises $1.2B in Funding

Ant International, a Singapore-based digital payments and fintech company, has secured $1.2 billion in a new growth capital fundraising round. The company is an overseas affiliate that was spun out of the Jack Ma-founded Chinese firm Ant Group in 2024 to provide global enterprise financial services.

The funding round included participation from affiliates Ant Group and Alibaba Group.

The company plans to use the new capital to accelerate its global expansion within the merchant payment business, account management services, and other financial services for enterprises.

Founded in 2024 as an independent spin-off from Ant Group, Ant International provides digital payments and financial infrastructure. The company operates across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America, connecting with banks, card organizations, and mobile payment platforms to serve approximately 150 million merchants and 2 billion user accounts.
