Archimede Raises €1.5M Seed

Archimede, a Syracuse-based DeepTech startup that develops modular systems for monitoring and managing off-grid critical infrastructure, has closed a €1.5 million Seed funding round. The company, which specializes in integrating energy, satellite connectivity, and software control into a unified platform, surpassed its initial €1 million goal with this new capital injection.

The round was led by Primo Capital SGR, through its funds Primo Digital, Primo Digital Parallel Italia, and Primo Digital Parallel Sud Italia. Additional participating investors included CDP Venture Capital, Plug and Play, ELIS through CrossConnect, 40Jemz, and Irritec.

Archimede plans to use the funds to strengthen its technical and commercial teams, complete the industrialisation of its product line, accelerate enterprise pilots, and support its international expansion. The company also intends to develop an open-source version of its platform to lower adoption barriers for developers and system integrators.

Founded in 2024 by Riccardo Puglisi, Alessandro Basile, and Ferdinando Anselmi, Archimede is a Sicily-based startup dedicated to making the management of remote assets accessible. Its core product, ArchMesh, combines predictive energy management, multi-constellation satellite connectivity, and a low-code software platform to provide control for industrial facilities in off-grid environments.
