Ark Climate, a Munich, Germany-based software company that offers an end-to-end solution for municipal climate action, has raised €2.1 million in pre-Seed funding.

The round was led by Satgana, with participation from another.VC, Voyagers Climate Fund, the Federal Ministry of Research, and several angel investors.

Satgana is a Luxembourg-based early-stage venture capital firm focused on climate technologies. The firm invests in planet-positive startups across Europe and Africa, backing founders developing sustainable solutions to address climate change and ecological challenges. In addition to seed capital, Satgana provides strategic support in impact management, technology development, and fundraising.

The funding will be used to grow its team, expand its presence across the German market, and further develop advanced emissions data capabilities and AI-powered climate intelligence models.

Founded in 2024 by Ruth Bosse, Ark Climate is a Munich-based climatetech company that provides a cloud-based platform to help municipalities plan, implement, and track climate action measures on their path to climate neutrality. The software integrates emissions and energy data, enables cross-department collaboration, and leverages embedded AI models to assess the impact of individual initiatives while evaluating alignment with political climate targets. By supporting responsibilities such as district heating, public transport, and public infrastructure, Ark Climate helps cities translate climate commitments into measurable action. The company currently serves 43 municipalities across Germany.
