Asato Closes $7.5 Million in Seed Round

Asato.ai, a San Francisco, CA-based AI-powered enterprise Copilot platform, has closed a $7.5 million seed financing.

The round was co-led by Intel Capital and Lip-Bu Tan. Other participants include Shah Capital Partners and prominent angel investors such as Amarjit Gill, Ash Bhardwaj, Charlie Giancarlo, and Sanjay Mehrotra.

Founded in 1991, Intel Capital is the corporate venture capital arm of Intel based in Santa Clara, California. Intel Capital invests in innovative startups targeting cloud and AI infrastructure, cybersecurity, and other disruptive technologies.

Lip-Bu Tan is a Malaysia-born American executive and entrepreneur presently the executive chairman of Cadence Design Systems and Chairman of Walden International, a venture capital firm.

The company will use the funds to accelerate the development of the Copilot platform.
