Asterix Health Raises £2.1M Pre-seed

Asterix Health, a UK-based company developing a workforce solution to hire UK-registered GPs to support primary care remotely through a proprietary technology platform, has raised £2.1 million in pre-seed funding.

Triple Point led the pre-seed round.

Additional participating investors included D2, Entrepreneurs First, Basis Capital, and angels.

The capital will be used to accelerate the onboarding of new NHS practices and expand Asterix's network of remote GMC-registered GPs, including NHS-trained doctors who are eager to return to frontline care from abroad.

Founded in 2024 by Julian Titz and Max Thilo, Asterix Health's mission is to address chronic workforce shortages in primary care. The company provides a technology platform that connects the NHS with global talent, offering 24/7 coverage and increased productivity. Their model aims to free up valuable GP time whilst ensuring patient care continues to be delivered by highly-qualified GPs.
