Augmenta Raises $10 Million in Funding

Augmenta, a Toronto, Canada-based provider of an autonomous design platform for the built environment, has raised an additional $10 million in seed funding.

This seed round was led by Prelude Ventures, with additional participation from Montage Ventures, bringing Augmenta's total funding to $25.6 million.

Founded in 2013, Prelude Ventures is a venture capital firm that invests in early-stage companies tackling climate change and promoting sustainability. They focus on sectors like clean energy, sustainable materials, food and agriculture, carbon management, and transportation. The company will use the funding to expand the capabilities of its Electrical System Design (ESD) agent, accelerate the development of its mechanical and plumbing agents, and build its sales and support teams.
