Automat Raises $15.5 Million Series A

Automat, a San Francisco, California–based company that specializes in AI-driven automation solutions, has raised $15.5 million in Series A funding.

The round was led by Felicis, with participation from Initialized Capital, Khosla Ventures, Y Combinator, K5 Global, and Input Capital, bringing Automat's total funding to $19.25 million.

Felicis is a multi-stage venture capital firm managing over $3 billion in assets and investing globally in ambitious founders from Seed through Growth stages. Founded in 2006, the firm backs startups across AI, infrastructure, biotech, security, and vertical SaaS.

The company will use the funding to expand its customer base, grow its product, engineering, and sales teams, and support enterprises migrating from legacy RPA systems.
