Averlon, a Redmond, WA-based cloud security company, has emerged from stealth mode with an $8 million seed funding round.

The round was led by Voyager Capital, with participation from Salesforce Ventures, Outpost Ventures, and notable CISOs, bringing Averlon’s total funding to $10.5 million.

Voyager Capital is a Pacific Northwest venture firm providing entrepreneurs with the resources, experience, and connections to build successful technology companies. Voyager leads first venture round investments in software, analytics, and cloud infrastructure startups. The firm has offices in Seattle, Washington, and Portland, Oregon.

The funds will be used to enhance their AI-powered cloud security platform, expand market reach, accelerate product development, and scale operations to better serve and protect their customers from sophisticated cyber threats.
