Axiomatic AI Raises $18 Million Seed Round

Axiomatic AI, a Cambridge, Massachusetts–based AI platform for verified science and engineering, has raised $18 million in Seed funding, bringing its total funding to $25 million.

The round was led by Engine Ventures, with participation from Kleiner Perkins, Big Sur Ventures, Global Vision Capital, Propagator Ventures, and Liquid 2.

Engine Ventures is a venture capital firm focused on “tough tech” startups developing transformational science and engineering breakthroughs aimed at solving major global challenges. Its investment areas include energy and climate, human health, advanced systems, and infrastructure.

The company plans to use the funding to expand enterprise deployments and deepen the integration of its verification platform into complex science and engineering workflows.

Founded by Dirk Englund, Frank Koppens, Joyce Poon, and Marin Soljačić, and led by CEO Jake Taylor, Axiomatic AI is building an engineering-focused AI platform designed to deliver interpretable, physics-grounded reasoning for complex hardware systems.
