KOMPAS VC is an early-stage venture capital firm that focuses on the "physical world," specifically technologies transforming the built environment and manufacturing. Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Copenhagen, the firm manages approximately €300 million in assets across two funds, targeting sectors such as climate tech, Industry 4.0, and supply chain automation.
The funding will be used to expand R&D talent and operations, deepen the Backslash platform capabilities, and scale go-to-market efforts in the U.S. and Europe.
