BazaarNow Raises ₹72Cr Seed
BazaarNow, a Bengaluru-based quick commerce platform, has raised ₹72 crore in a seed funding round, bringing its total funding to date to ₹80 crore. The startup focuses on optimizing grocery delivery services specifically for middle-class households in tier II and III cities across India.
The funding round was led by Peak XV Partners, with additional participation from Whiteboard Capital, Antler, and several angel investors.
BazaarNow plans to use the new capital to expand its operations into surrounding towns and density clusters, deepen its product assortment, and continue refining its local-language app experience over the next six to twelve months.
Founded in January 2023 by Priyanshu Jain, Arjun Harish, and Tarithnay Mandal, BazaarNow provides a vernacular-first quick commerce platform for groceries, fresh produce, and local brands. The company leverages AI-powered local-language search and a proprietary in-house logistics stack to serve smaller markets across India.
