Black Forest Labs Raises $300M in Series B

Black Forest Labs, a Freiburg, Germany-based visual intelligence company, has raised $300M in Series B funding, valuing the company at $3.25 billion post-money.

The round was led by AMP and Salesforce Ventures, with participation from a wide group of returning and new institutional investors and angels.

AMP is a new venture designed to provide “compute and capital to frontier AI teams.”

Salesforce Ventures is the corporate venture capital (CVC) arm of Salesforce, the global cloud-based software company. Founded in 2009, it invests globally across the U.S., Europe, Israel, Japan, Korea, India, and Australia. Since its founding, the firm has deployed over $6 billion in capital into more than 630 startups. It focuses on enterprise software companies, investing from Seed rounds through Growth stages.

The funds will support advanced R&D, infrastructure scaling, and hiring as the company expands its frontier multimodal models and strengthens the FLUX platform.

Black Forest Labs is an AI research lab focused on visual intelligence, developing generative models that create or edit images using artificial intelligence. Its technology empowers creators, developers, and enterprises to turn imagination into reality. The company’s flagship product, FLUX, is an image-generation and editing model family, a suite of state-of-the-art text-to-image (T2I) models that also support image editing. FLUX is integrated by major enterprise partners, including Adobe, Canva, Meta, and Deutsche Telekom.
