Bold Games Raises $6M Seed

Bold Games, an Istanbul-based mobile gaming startup, has successfully secured $6 million in seed funding. The company, which focuses on developing sort puzzle games, plans to use the new capital to accelerate the development and global expansion of its debut title, Market Match.

The round was co-led by Arcadia Gaming Partners, Makers Fund, and e2vc, with participation from JIMCO and several angel investors.

The company plans to use the funding to grow its product and engineering teams and invest in long-term game operations and player engagement strategies.

Founded by a group of industry veterans including Ulas Mergen, Atakan Tuglu, Candas Demirel, and Baris Incesu, Bold Games aims to develop mobile puzzle games with long-term appeal. The team draws on experience from major gaming studios to focus on intellectual property development within the sort puzzle genre.
