Cactus Raises $7 Million in Seed Round

Cactus, a San Francisco, CA–based AI copilot platform for home service businesses, has raised $7 million in Seed funding.

The round was led by Wellington Management and Y Combinator, with participation from Pelion Venture Partners, Rebel Fund, and other strategic investors.

Wellington Management is a private, independent investment management firm that manages over $1.4 trillion in assets for institutional clients worldwide. Headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, the firm offers a wide range of investment strategies, including equities, fixed income, multi-asset, and private investments.

Y Combinator (YC) is a technology startup accelerator and venture capital firm founded in March 2005. YC runs an intensive, three-month program twice a year, providing accepted startups with $500,000 in standardized Seed funding along with hands-on mentorship to help them achieve product–market fit and rapid growth.

The company will use the funds to accelerate platform development and expand its go-to-market presence across the U.S..
