Cadstrom Raises $6.8M in Seed Funding

Cadstrom, a Montreal, Canada-based AI-powered system that helps electrical engineers design devices correctly on the first attempt, has raised $6.8 million in seed funding.

The round was led by Bison Ventures, with participation from Innovation Endeavors and AI2 Incubator.

The company will use the funding to further develop its automated verification tools.

Founded in 2023 by Margot Blouin and Scott Bright, Cadstrom builds AI tools that enable electrical engineers to create devices that work correctly on their first attempt. Cadstrom’s proprietary Sigma Engine uses generative AI and a deep understanding of physics and electronics to detect errors and validate designs automatically, reducing development costs and cutting design cycles.
