Cense Raises €6.5M Seed
Cense, a Baar, Switzerland-based company specializing in digital asset compliance and evidence platforms for financial institutions, has raised €6.5 million in a seed funding round. The investment will support the company as it scales its operations and addresses the increasing regulatory challenges faced by banks managing digital assets.
This round was co-led by G+D Ventures and Rabo Investments, with participation from several angel investors.
The company intends to use the capital to accelerate its expansion across Europe, grow its sales team, and broaden its market position among private and retail banks.
Led by CEO Dennis Wohlfarth, Cense provides infrastructure that operates at the intersection of digital assets and traditional banking. The platform automates compliance due diligence and generates auditable documentation, enabling financial institutions to trace the movement of funds between digital wallets and the traditional financial system.
