CentSight Raises $1.5M Pre-seed

CentSight, based in Lakewood, Ohio, is an AI-native financial intelligence platform designed to provide small and mid-sized business owners with CFO-grade clarity. The company recently announced it secured $1.5 million in pre-seed funding to support its mission of helping business owners interpret financial data through plain English queries and proactive insights.

Mudita Venture Partners led the investment round. The company was developed in partnership with Mudita Studios, the venture studio arm of Mudita Venture Partners, which provided additional support for product, engineering, and go-to-market execution.

The capital from this pre-seed round will be used to accelerate the development and public launch of the CentSight platform, supporting its AI-native financial Q&A tools and proactive financial alerting system, known as Signals.

Founded in 2026 by entrepreneur Gerald Hetrick, CentSight provides a platform that integrates directly with tools like QuickBooks Online and Plaid to analyze cash flow, expenses, and revenue in real-time. The company aims to eliminate the need for manual spreadsheets and expensive fractional CFO services by providing actionable financial intelligence to SMB owners.
