Cerrion Raises $18 Million in Series A

Cerrion, a Zurich, Switzerland-based AI video agent platform, has raised $18 million in Series A funding.

The round was led by Creandum, with participation from Y Combinator, Goat Capital, 10x Founders, Session VC, and angel investors including Harry Stebbings, Oskar Hjertonsson, Thomas Wolf, and Garret Langley.

Creandum is a European early-stage venture capital firm founded in 2003 and headquartered in Stockholm, with offices in Berlin, London, and San Francisco. The firm backs companies from Seed through Series A (and sometimes beyond) across sectors such as consumer tech, SaaS, fintech, healthtech, AI, and enterprise applications.

The company will use the funds to double its headcount in Europe and the US and expand its platform to support additional manufacturing processes.

Cerrion is an AI video agent platform that helps manufacturers detect and resolve production line issues in real time. Its agents monitor factory operations beyond human observation, alerting operators to process deviations, quality issues, and safety risks while enabling automated interventions. By combining AI-driven insights with human oversight, Cerrion helps manufacturers reduce downtime, scrap losses, and operational inefficiencies. Its platform is already in use in live production at manufacturers such as Unilever, Riedel, Schott Zwiesel, Stölzle Lausitz, Sisecam, and Verallia, spanning glass, food, timber, and CPG industries.
