Charm Security, a New York-based AI-powered customer security platform, has raised $8 million in seed funding.

The round was led by Team8, with participation from additional investors.

Team8 is a global venture creation firm specializing in cybersecurity, fintech, data, AI, and digital health, with over $1 billion in assets under management (AUM). Founded in 2014, Team8 is headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel, with an office in New York, USA.

The company will use the funds to expand its team, accelerate product development, broaden its market reach, and forge strategic partnerships to drive the adoption of its scam prevention platform.
