Concourse Raises $12 Million in Series A

Concourse, a New York–based startup that builds an AI agent platform for finance teams, has raised $12 million in Series A funding.

The round was led by Standard Capital, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), CRV, Y Combinator, and CFO angels from companies including Cursor, Vercel, and Carta.

Standard Capital is a venture capital firm that focuses on Series A funding for AI-native and high-growth startups. The firm invests in startups that have achieved product–market fit.

The company plans to use the funding to enhance its AI agent capabilities, expand platform access to finance teams of all sizes, invest in enterprise-grade security and compliance, and scale infrastructure and support.

Led by CEO Matthieu Hafemeister, Concourse is an enterprise-grade AI agent platform designed specifically for finance teams. Its platform allows finance, accounting, and data teams to automate manual financial tasks. Concourse AI agents connect directly to ERPs, accounting systems, data warehouses, and billing platforms, and work through natural language.
