Contineu Raises $1.2 Million in Seed Round
Contineu, a Bengaluru, India-based deep-tech startup providing AI-driven solutions for the construction industry, has raised $1.2 million in seed funding.
The round was led by SenseAI Ventures, with additional participation from the Piper Serica Angel Fund.
SenseAI Ventures is a Gurugram-based venture capital firm established in 2017, specializing in early-stage investments in artificial intelligence (AI)-focused startups. The firm primarily targets seed and pre-Series A companies developing AI-first products across various sectors, including AI Software as a Service (SaaS), business-to-consumer (B2C) applications, and AI tools.
The company will use the funding to support the development of its AI-native platform to automate quality monitoring, compliance checks, and site-level visibility across construction projects.
Founded in 2023 by Harshil Naik and Kanao Ramesh, Contineu has developed an AI-native vertical data infrastructure stack designed specifically for the construction industry. It automates processes such as quality monitoring, compliance checks, and site-level visibility at scale. Its proprietary platform integrates helmet-mounted 360° cameras with 3D computer vision models to automatically generate 3D as-built models of construction sites, identifying quality issues and defects across various trades.
