Cube AI Raises $2.5 Million in Pre-Seed Round

Cube AI, a France-based company specializing in AI solutions for logistics, raised $2.5 million in pre-seed funding.

The round was led by VentureFriends, with notable contributions from investors including K5 Global, Olivier Pomel (Datadog), Florian Douetteau (Dataiku), and others.

Founded in 2016, VentureFriends is an Athens-based investment firm that targets investments in Seed and Series A startups across Latin America, the Middle East, Africa Central and Eastern Europe.

The company will use the funding to further develop and scale its innovative technology and support the expansion of its team and its global outreach efforts.

Founded by Victor Plaisance, Louis de Benoist, and Sacha Ichbiah, Cube AI is an AI employee for logistics. Cube AI aims to modernize third-party logistics providers (3PL) by automating the outdated, slow, and complex manual tasks involved in freight movement. This includes streamlining routine emails, manual data entry, responses to RFPs (Request for Proposals), and other standard communications. Currently, Cube AI is recruiting engineers to join its mission and help deliver its products to customers globally.
