CVector Energy Raises $1.5M in Pre-Seed Round

CVector Energy, a New York–based software company that provides an industrial data platform, has raised $1.5 million in a pre-seed funding round.

The round was led by Schematic Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage investments in supply chain, manufacturing, and industrial technologies. Schematic partners with technical founders to build the next generation of operational infrastructure.

The company will use the funds to support team expansion, product development, and the scaling of deployments across demanding industrial environments.

Founded in November 2024 by Richard Zhang and Dr. Tyler Ruggles, CVector Energy is a software company building the data and intelligence backbone for industrial AI. Its platform connects high-fidelity machine data with external signals such as energy prices and weather, enabling real-time optimization, adaptive intelligence, and hybrid physics-informed modeling. Purpose-built for complex industrial environments, the platform supports AI agents, hybrid models, and adaptive troubleshooting. Headquartered in Providence, RI, with offices in New York and Frankfurt, CVector is already deployed across the energy, chemicals, and advanced manufacturing sectors.
