Darwinbox Secures $140 Million Investment

Darwinbox, a Hyderabad, India-based global HR technology company, has secured $140 million in strategic investment.

The funding round was co-led by Partners Group and KKR, with additional participation from Gravity Holdings.

Partners Group is a global private markets firm managing over USD 150 billion with around 1,800 professionals. It offers investment programs in private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real estate, and royalties. Headquartered in Switzerland, with a key presence in Colorado, the firm uses its unique culture and operational approach to identify investment opportunities and build market-leading businesses.

KKR is a global investment firm offering alternative asset management, capital markets, and insurance solutions. It aims to generate attractive returns through a disciplined investment approach, employing top talent, and supporting portfolio company growth. KKR sponsors funds in private equity, credit, and real assets and has strategic partners managing hedge funds.

The company will use the funds to deepen its R&D and accelerate its international expansion plans, focusing on North America, APAC, the Middle East, and Europe.
