Dealstack Raises $5.5 Million in Seed Round

Dealstack, a London, UK-based SaaS platform tailored for private equity professionals, has raised $5.5 million in seed funding.

The round saw participation from current and former professionals at industry-leading firms such as Paul Weiss, Kirkland & Ellis, Latham & Watkins, KKR, CVC, TA Associates, Goldman Sachs, and more.

The company will use the funds to support further development of its AI-powered platform, enhancing operational efficiencies and regulatory compliance and providing seamless data integration across private capital operations.

Founded by Joel Arnell and Seb Lapinski, a former Oaktree Capital investor, Dealstack provides cloud-based solutions to automate and streamline operational workflows within the private capital and private equity sectors. It automates key workflows such as valuation waterfalls, employee equity tracking, and contract management. Dealstack offers modules for equity plan management, cap table management, and waterfall modeling. Their clients include over 30 private capital firms, including six of the top ten global private capital firms by funds raised and eight of the top ten in Europe.
