Decart Secures $21 Million in Seed Round

Decart, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based startup that built an AI infrastructure platform, has secured $21 million in seed funding.

The round was led by Sequoia Capital, with additional participation from early investor Oren Zeev.

Sequoia Capital, headquartered in Menlo Park, California, is a venture capital firm specializing in seed-stage, early-stage, and growth-stage investments across technology sectors, helping founders build legendary companies from inception to IPO and beyond.

The funding will help accelerate its generative AI innovations, including a groundbreaking interactive AI video game.

Founded in late 2023 by Dean Leitersdorf and Moshe Shalev, Decart is an AI company developed an AI infrastructure platform that enhances model training efficiency and enables real-time inference. Its efficient systems-level AI infrastructure improves the training and inferencing of large generative models. Decart is based in Tel Aviv and currently employs 25 people.
