Donnerstag.ai Raises €4.3M Seed Round
Donnerstag.ai, a Germany-based startup providing an AI-powered accounts receivable management platform, has raised €4.3 million in Seed funding.
The round was led by Speedinvest, with participation from QED Investors, Crestone VC, and several European business angels.
Speedinvest, founded in 2011 and based in Vienna, Austria, focuses on Seed and Series A investments in early-stage startups across fintech, digital health, enterprise software, consumer tech, and deep tech sectors. As of January 2024, Speedinvest’s assets under management (AUM) exceeded €1 billion.
The company will use the funding to scale its platform across the DACH region, enhance AI capabilities for receivables management, and improve transparency and automation in supplier financial operations.
Founded in 2025 by Barbaros Özbugutu and Volkan Özkan, Donnerstag.ai provides an AI-powered accounts receivable management platform specifically for suppliers. The platform is designed to automate and secure cash flow by consolidating performance, billing, and payment data into a single system. It integrates ERP, service recording, and banking systems, detects discrepancies in real time, and automatically reconciles thousands of transactions. Headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, the company aims to help businesses prevent payment losses and achieve full transparency into their outstanding receivables.
