Dragonfly Raises £2.6M Pre-Seed Round

Dragonfly, a London, UK-based software discovery platform, has raised £2.6 million in a pre-Seed funding round.

The round was led by Episode 1, with participation from Dreamcraft, Portfolio Ventures, and notable angel investors, including QuantumBlack founder and CTO Sam Bourton and Bolt founder and CEO Markus Villig.

Episode 1 Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm based in London, United Kingdom. The firm invests in pre-seed and seed-stage B2B software companies (Business-to-Business SaaS) and has a strong interest in “deep tech” areas, including AI, techbio, open-source software, software infrastructure, healthtech, and marketplaces.

The funding will be used to develop new AI-driven features for Dragonfly’s platform, expand its proprietary data catalogue, and recruit key new hires.
