DynaRisk Raises $4.7 Million in Funding

DynaRisk, a London, UK-based cyber risk management platform provider, has raised $4.7 million in funding.

The round was led by YFM Equity Partners, with the appointment of InsurTech veteran Phil Zeidler to the board as part of the company’s strategic growth plan.

YFM Equity Partners is a UK-based private equity firm that provides growth capital and supports management buyouts for small and medium-sized businesses. Established in 1982, YFM typically invests between £3 million and £15 million in ambitious, high-potential companies across the UK. Sector-agnostic and regionally focused, the firm operates from offices in Leeds, London, Manchester, Reading, and Birmingham.

The company will use the funding to scale its operations across EMEA, North America, and Asia-Pacific, and to accelerate the development of its cyber risk management and threat intelligence solutions.

Founded in 2016 by Andrew Martin, DynaRisk provides threat intelligence-driven SaaS solutions that enable (re)insurers, brokers, and MGAs to better protect their policyholders. The platform offers vulnerability scanning, dark web monitoring, cybersecurity scores, educational tools, and incident response services. DynaRisk currently supports more than 25 insurance customers worldwide, covering approximately 2.4 million consumers and 800,000 SMEs. Clients include Beazley, Arthur J. Gallagher, SCOR, Chubb, BOXX Insurance, and others.
