Eagl Raises €825,000 in Seed Round
Eagl, a Ghent, Belgium-based AI startup automating the month-end close for finance teams, has raised €825,000 in seed funding.
The round was led by Syndicate One and CNBB Equity Partners, with participation from leading SaaS founders, including Matthias Geeroms (Lighthouse), Joris Van Der Gucht (Silverfin, Ravical), Jeroen De Wit (Teamleader), Lorenz Bogaert (Rydoo, StarApps), Louis Jonckheere (Showpad), Roeland Delrue (Aikido Security), and the Henchman founding team.
Syndicate One is an international, network-driven fund that invests in high-potential, early-stage Belgian-based and Belgian-founded tech startups. It empowers Belgian innovators by providing seed capital, hands-on operational advice, tools, mentorship, and events to help them grow.
CNBB Equity Partners is a private equity and venture capital firm based in Rotterdam, Netherlands, with an additional office in Antwerp, Belgium. The firm specializes in growth and buyout investments in B2B SaaS businesses and primarily targets companies in the Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg), the UK, and the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
The company will use the funding to expand its AI and engineering teams, accelerate product development, and scale operations across Europe.
Founded in April 2025 by Samuel Van Innis, Benoit Baervoets, Brecht Carnewal, and Frederik Bakx, Eagl provides an AI-native financial operations platform.
