Fal Raises $49 Million in Series B

Fal, a San Francisco, CA-based infrastructure platform for AI-driven media creation, has raised $49 million in Series B funding, bringing its total funding to $72 million.

The round was led by Notable Capital, alongside Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, Kindred Ventures, and First Round.

Notable Capital is a U.S.-based venture firm focused on early- to growth-stage companies in cloud infrastructure, business applications, and consumer technology across the U.S., Israel, Europe, Latin America, and select global markets.

As part of this round, Jennifer Li (a16z) and Glenn Solomon (Notable Capital) will join Fal’s Board of Directors.

With this funding, Fal is focused on scaling its infrastructure, expanding its model marketplace, and growing its team.

Founded in 2021 by Burkay Gur and Gorkem Yurtseven, Fal is a developer-centric platform for generative media, offering cutting-edge inference solutions for AI-powered video, image, and audio applications. The company provides privately managed compute for running generative models and APIs for open-source models to generate media.
