Flick Raises $6M Seed Round
Flick, a San Francisco, CA-based AI-native filmmaking platform built for creators who value aesthetics, control, and creative flexibility, has raised $6 million in Seed funding.
The round included investments from True Ventures, GV, Y Combinator, Lightspeed, Formosa Capital, Pioneer Fund, Olive Tree Capital, N1, and additional angel investors.
The company will use the funding to accelerate product development, expand its cinematic creative tooling, and grow its community of filmmakers.
Founded by Zoey Zhang and Ray Wang, Flick is an AI-native filmmaking platform designed for creators focused on cinematic storytelling, artistic control, and creative flexibility. The platform enables filmmakers to direct AI-generated films using non-linear workflows, cinematic controls, and iterative creative tools. Flick also operates the Flick Filmmaker Residency, an initiative focused on cultivating the next generation of AI-native filmmakers.
