Fu2re Secures R$12.5 Million in Funding

Fu2re, a Rio de Janeiro, Brazil-based startup specializing in AI-driven data processing and image recognition, has secured R$12.5 million in funding.

The round was led by Copel Ventures, with participation from Indicator Capital.

Copel Ventures, managed by Vox Capital, is a corporate venture capital (CVC) fund established by Copel (Companhia Paranaense de Energia) to invest in early-stage startups driving the energy transition. With a fund size of R$150 million, it focuses on strategic investments in clean energy, energy-as-a-service, smart cities, electromobility, ESG innovation, and asset management technologies.

The investment will be used to advance generative AI solutions, expand into the agriculture and industrial sectors, develop scalable products, and support international growth.

Fu2re focuses on artificial intelligence applications in data processing and computer vision. Its no-code platform enables clients to digitize field routines, automate meter reading, detect fraud, and reduce non-technical losses. Fu2re's technology applies advanced AI to optimize physical asset monitoring, particularly in the electric power sector. The company offers AI-driven solutions for utilities and infrastructure such as SmartVision AI, SmartAssets, SmartReader, EnergyWatch, and others.
