FuelFWD Secures Seed Funding Round
FuelFWD, a Rotterdam, Netherlands-based startup focused on digital solutions for the renewable fuels sector, has secured seed funding.
The round was led by Value Factory Ventures, with continued support from Docklab Ventures and the Port of Rotterdam.
Founded in 2019, Value Factory Ventures is a venture capital firm based in Ridderkerk, Netherlands. The firm seeks to invest in technology companies operating in the food technology and climate technology sectors across the Netherlands.
The funding will accelerate growth and further develop its innovative software solution.
Founded by Menno van der Zalm and Vincent Tribou, FuelFWD has developed business software for companies trading in renewable fuels. The software provides an alternative to often manual, Excel-based workflows for compliance administration and reporting. The platform functions as both Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) when used by multiple parties. Its mission is to streamline the renewable fuels market by eliminating the burden of compliance and providing traceability.
