Gallatin AI Raises $15 Million in Seed Round

Gallatin AI, a Washington, DC-based defense technology company, has emerged from stealth with $15 million in seed funding.

The round was led by 8VC and joined by Silent Ventures, Moonshots Capital, Timeless Partners, and Banter Capital.

8VC, a venture capital firm founded in 2015 and based in Austin, Texas, manages over $7 billion in committed capital. The firm invests primarily in defense, logistics, and other strategic sectors. In 2025, 8VC launched its sixth fund, raising $998 million.

The company will use the funding to accelerate technology development, expand its engineering and deployment teams, and scale its Navigator platform across military services.
