GenGenAI Secures KRW 4.5 Billion in Pre-Series A

GenGenAI, a Seoul, South Korea-based AI technology startup, has secured KRW 4.5 billion ($3.8 million) in pre-Series A funding.

Smilegate Investment, DSC Investment, Korea Development Bank, Stone Bridge Ventures, HL Mando, and Inno Wireless participated in the funding round.

The company will use the funds to expand into sectors requiring diverse AI learning data, such as mobility, defense, and healthcare.

Established in January 2022, GenGenAI develops AI synthetic data solutions using its domain-specific generative AI technology, GenGenAI's solutions include ZenZen Data, which generates synthetic datasets for customers, and ZenZen Vision, which offers vision AI technology as an SDK or API. The company is also developing the ZenZen Studio platform to enable customers to create synthetic data directly.
