The funding comes from anonymous private investors who support the company’s vision of using AI to transform the travel booking experience.
The company will use the funding to support the rollout of its app in the Netherlands, continue feature development, and expand into other European markets.
Founded by Gennie Freen, GeniusTravel offers an AI-powered trip planning and booking platform. The company’s flagship product, Genius, is an AI-driven travel app that curates complete travel packages—including flights and accommodation—based on users’ budgets and preferences. It leverages AI to compile the best daily deals across various price ranges and categories, such as short trips under €120 per person (including flights and accommodation), weekend getaways, and trips to popular destinations.
