Genspark, a Palo Alto, California-based artificial intelligence search startup, secured a $60 million seed funding at a $260 million post-money valuation.

The round was led by Singapore-based Lanchi Ventures.

Lanchi Ventures is an early-stage venture firm headquartered in Singapore. The firm focuses on investing in entrepreneurs who create a sustainable impact through technological innovations. With over $2 billion in assets under management, the firm has invested in over 200 portfolio companies.

Genspark is an AI search platform that utilizes generative AI to create custom summaries and detailed overviews in response to user queries. Founded by Eric Jing and Kay Zhu in 2023, Genspark aims to provide a more refined and user-friendly search experience compared to competitors like Arc Search and Google’s AI Overviews.
