The round includes Joa Capital, abtal.vc, Sanabil Accelerator by 500 Global, Sadu Capital, Plus VC, Hyperscope Ventures, A-Typical Ventures, and Plug and Play.

The funding will accelerate product development, enhance AI-driven decision-making, and support regional expansion, with a strong focus on responsible and compliant data infrastructure.

Founded in 2025 by Khalid Almudayfir, Jehad Senan, and Djamel Mohand, Governata is an enterprise data governance and management platform specifically designed for the Saudi Arabian and MENA markets. It helps public and private organizations build reliable, compliant, and AI-ready data foundations. Since its launch, the company has partnered with major government entities and leading private-sector organizations to advance data governance across the region.
