Helmet Security, a Washington, DC–based platform purpose-built to secure agentic AI communications, has raised $9 million in Seed funding.

The round was backed by SYN Ventures and WhiteRabbit Ventures.

SYN Ventures is a venture capital firm specializing in early-stage investments in cybersecurity, industrial security, national defense, and data privacy. The firm manages over $600 million across multiple funds and supports founders with capital, operational scaling, and go-to-market strategies tailored to security-focused innovation.

WhiteRabbit Ventures is an early-stage venture studio and venture capital firm, primarily based in San Francisco, that specializes in building and funding next-generation cybersecurity companies. The firm actively identifies market problems, assembles founding teams, and provides resources and capital to accelerate growth, with a focus on emerging technologies such as AI agents and spatial computing.

The company will use the funding to accelerate platform development and scale GTM operations.
