Hubert Raises €2.5 Million in Seed Round
Hubert, a Stockholm, Sweden-based recruitment technology company, has raised €2.5 million in a seed round.
The round was led by Spintop Ventures, with participation from Bonnier-linked investors Jakob Tolleryd, Peder Bonnier, and Joen Bonnier.
Spintop Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm based in Stockholm, Sweden. Founded in 2009, it specializes in investing in innovative, software-based technology companies in the Nordic region. The firm invests at the pre-seed and seed stages, often being the first venture capital firm to back a company. Spintop Ventures has invested in more than 35 companies since its inception.
The company will use the funding to accelerate product innovation.
Led by CEO Fredrik Östgren, Hubert is an AI-first hiring platform that automates the screening and interviewing process for high-volume recruitment. The company’s core product is a proprietary AI that conducts structured, conversational interviews with job applicants at scale, 24/7. Hubert’s platform integrates with existing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and serves industry-leading clients in retail, logistics, hospitality, and business process outsourcing. Headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, Hubert’s clients include Securitas, Coop, and ManpowerGroup.
