humans& Raises $480M Seed at $4.48B Valuation

humans&, a San Francisco, CA–based startup focused on AI that empowers people rather than replaces them, has raised $480 million in Seed funding at a $4.48 billion valuation.

The round included Nvidia, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, SV Angel, GV, and Emerson Collective.

The company will use the funding to advance its AI platform for human collaboration, focusing on innovations in multi-agent reinforcement learning, memory, long-horizon planning, and user-centered AI product development.

Founded by Andi Peng, Georges Harik, Eric Zelikman, Yuchen He, and Noah Goodman, humans& is a three-month-old startup dedicated to building AI that augments and empowers human workers rather than replacing them. One of the company’s goals is to use existing AI techniques to train AI in new ways, such as programming chatbots to request information from users and store it for later use.
