Infinity Raises $15M Seed at $100M Valuation
Infinity, a San Francisco-based AI infrastructure research company, has raised $15 million in seed funding at a $100 million post-money valuation. The company specializes in developing a software layer that allows any AI chip to perform inference efficiently, solving a major bottleneck in the semiconductor industry.
The round included significant participation from Touring Capital, along with Principal VC, executives at major chip companies, researchers from OpenAI and Anthropic, and other prominent angel investors.
Infinity plans to use the capital to scale its automated AI research platform and its autonomous AI agent, Ignition. The funds will also support the expansion of the engineering team and accelerate work with chip manufacturing partners.
Founded in 2025 by Jeremy Nixon, a former Google Brain researcher, Infinity.inc builds the software layer that makes any AI chip inference-ready. Its flagship product, Ignition, is an autonomous AI agent that generates, tests, and optimizes low-level compute kernels, enabling chip providers to deploy their hardware with optimized inference stacks in days rather than years.
