Ingenix Raises €13M Seed Extension

Ingenix, a Warsaw-based AI company, has raised €13 million in a seed-extension financing round. The company specializes in biological reasoning engines for drug development, aiming to bridge the gap between complex molecular, clinical, and chemical data through its unique AI architecture.

This round was led by Sofinnova Partners, with participation from Inovo VC and OTB VC.

Ingenix plans to use the new capital to scale its Biological Reasoning Engine, an AI system built to support translational and clinical R&D decisions, and to broaden access for its pharma and biotech partners.

Founded in 2023, Ingenix was established by a team that includes AI researchers and engineers who previously founded Applica, an AI company acquired by Snowflake in 2022. The company mission is to provide an AI architecture specifically designed for biological reasoning rather than repurposing general-purpose models, helping researchers integrate data across molecular, cellular, and clinical scales.
