InSoil Raises €120M Debt Financing

InSoil, a European climate finance firm based in Europe that channels institutional money into regenerative agriculture, has secured a €120m senior secured credit facility.

The funding was provided by Pollen Street Capital, a private capital asset manager. The European Investment Fund (EIF) also provided a guarantee under the InvestEU programme.

The capital will be used by InSoil to grow its loan book and extend more mid-term debt to agricultural SMEs that are shifting towards sustainable farming methods, such as no-till cultivation, cover cropping, and diversified crop rotation.

Founded in 2020 by CEO Laimonas Noreika, InSoil focuses on climate finance for the agricultural sector. The company pairs proprietary underwriting models with verifiable climate outcomes and maintains one of the largest proprietary soil carbon datasets in Europe to support sustainable farming transitions.
