JobsUPI Raises $250K Pre-seed

JobsUPI, a multilingual and multimodal employment platform based in India, has secured $250K in a pre-seed funding round. The company leverages Voice AI to improve access to jobs across India for blue-collar and skilled workers.

The funding round was led by IIMA Ventures, with additional participation from angel investors including Alok Bansal, Anshoo Sharma, Amit Jain, and Manoj Sinsinwar.

The capital raised will be utilized to strengthen the company's product capabilities, scale its distribution network, and facilitate expansion into new geographical regions.

Co-founded in 2025 by Shrey Bansal and Shubham Periwal, JobsUPI is dedicated to improving employment access throughout India. Its multilingual, multimodal, and Voice AI-powered platform focuses on speed, accessibility, and hyperlocal job discovery, aiming to enable hiring in as little as 30 minutes. JobsUPI is building a "quick commerce for jobs" model on an open network architecture to serve blue-collar and skilled workers across Bharat, aspiring to become a foundational layer for employment infrastructure. The company envisions unlocking 100 million jobs by enabling 10 million MSMEs and enterprises to hire more efficiently. The platform currently operates in North India.
